European migration law

European laws and regulations

The rules and regulation of the European Union greatly influence Dutch migration law. Not only citizens of the European Union, but also their family members have rights under European law. Our firm has a lot of experience in the practical interpretation of these rules. We can, for example, advise you on what it entails to follow the so called Belgian route.

If you are the (step/foster) parent of a Dutch child and you perform more than marginal care tasks for this child, you may have right of residence on the basis of European Law. We can assess whether you meet the criteria.
